Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Logistics Coordinator reports to the Business Development Manager, International and is responsible for providing high quality support for our students, clients and partners through the provision of logistical expertise for learning experiences, programs and events delivered on campus, online and off campus through the School of Continuing Studies’ English Language Programs. This includes accommodations and transportation, procurement of health insurance and bus passes, coordination of program orientations and closing ceremonies, and general program logistical support.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a two-year community college diploma and demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Experience in event management and/or large program coordination
- Experience in and/or understanding of a learner-centred service culture and a revenue-generating enterprise environment
- Experience with a student information system and a learning management system.
- Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Time management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Interpersonal skills to work with students and colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to work well under pressure during peak periods and in an environment where many things are happening at once, all requiring immediate attention.
- Functions constructively within a team environment
- Ability to communicate in additional language(s) is a strong asset
